Roadside emergencies
WRECKER TOWING
Ifyouneedtohaveyourvehicletowed,contactaprofessionaltowing
serviceor,ifyouareamember,yourroadsideassistancecenter.
Ifequippedwithairsuspension,theairsuspensioncontrolmustbe
turnedtotheOFFposition.
TheFordapprovedtowingprocedureisflatbedorwheelliftwith
dollies.
On4x2vehicles,itisacceptabletotowthevehiclewiththefrontwheels
ontheground(withoutdollies)andtherearwheelsofftheground.
Ifthevehicleistowedbyothermeansorincorrectly,vehicle
damagemayoccur.
Donottowwithslingbeltequipment.FordMotorCompanyhasnot
developedorapprovedaslingbelttowingprocedure.
