Makesurethatthejumpleadsareclearofmovingpartsoftheengine.
Donotconnecttheendofthesecondcabletothenegative(-)
terminalofthebatterytobejumped.Asparkmaycausean
explosionofthegasesthatsurroundthebattery.
Jump starting
1.
Starttheboostervehicleandruntheengineatmoderatelyincreased
speed.
2.
Starttheengineofthevehiclewiththedischargedbattery.
3.
Oncetheenginehasbeenstarted,runbothvehiclesforafurther
threeminutesbeforedisconnectingtheleads.
Removing the jumper cables
1.
metallicsurface(1)first,followedbythecableonthenegative(-)
boosterbatteryterminal(2).
Removethejumpercablesinreverseorder.Takethecableoffthe

(3)andthenthedischargedbattery(4).
