Programmingremotetransmitters
Itisnecessarytohaveall(maximumofsix—originaland/ornew)of
yourremotetransmittersavailablepriortobeginningthisprocedure.If
allremoteentrytransmittersarenotpresentduringtheprogramming
procedure,thetransmittersthatarenotpresentduringprogrammingwill
nolongeroperatethevehicle.

Unlockalldoorsusingthepower
doorlock/unlockcontrol.Inserta
keyandturntheignitionfrom
the1(OFF/LOCK)tothe3(ON)
positionandcyclebetween

timesinrapidsuccession(within
seconds)withtheeighthturn

endinginthe3(ON)position.Thelockswillcycletoconfirmthatthe
programmingmodehasbeenentered.

Within20seconds,programaremotetransmitterbypressingany
buttononatransmitter.Thelockswillcycleoncetoconfirmthatthe
remotetransmitterhasbeenprogrammed.(Ifmorethan20seconds
passbeforepressingaremotetransmitterbutton,theprogramming
modewillexitandtheprocedurewillhavetoberepeated.)

Repeattheprevioussteptoprogramadditionalremotetransmitters.
Thelockswillcycleoncetoconfirmthateachremotetransmitterhas
beenprogrammed.
Whenyouhavecompletedprogrammingtheremotetransmitters,turn
theignitiontothe1(OFF/LOCK)positionorwait20seconds.Again
thedoorswilllock/unlocktoconfirmprogramminghasbeen
completed.
Illuminated entry
Theinteriorlampsilluminatewhentheremoteentrysystemisusedto
unlockthedoor(s)orsoundthepersonalalarm,orwhenthefactoryset
5-digitcodeoryourpersonalcodearecorrectlyenteredintothekeyless
keypad.
Theilluminatedentrysystemwillturnofftheinteriorlightsif:

theignitionswitchisturnedtothe3(ON)position,or
