GCW(GrossCombinedWeight)–istheweightoftheloadedvehicle
(GVW)plustheweightofthefullyloadedtrailer.
GCWR(GrossCombinedWeightRating)–isthemaximumallowable
weightofthevehicleandtheloadedtrailer–includingallcargoand
passengers–thatthevehiclecanhandlewithoutriskingdamage.
(Important:Thetowingvehicle’sbrakingsystemisratedforoperationat
GVWR,notatGCWR.)Separatefunctionalbrakesshouldbeusedfor
safecontroloftowedvehiclesandfortrailerswheretheGCWofthe
towingvehicleplusthetrailerexceedtheGVWRofthetowingvehicle.
TheGCWmustneverexceedtheGCWR.
MaximumLoadedTrailerWeight–isthehighestpossibleweightofa
fullyloadedtrailerthevehiclecantow.Itassumesavehiclewithonly
mandatoryoptions,nocargo(internalorexternal),atongueloadof
10–15%
(conventionaltrailer)orkingpinweightof15–25%(fifthwheel
trailer),anddriveronly(150lb.[68kg]).Consultyourauthorized
dealer(ortheRVandTrailerTowingGuideprovidedbyyour
authorizeddealer)formoredetailedinformation.
TongueLoadorFifthWheelKingPinWeight–referstotheamount
oftheweightthatatrailerpushesdownonatrailerhitch.

by0.10and0.15toobtainapropertongueloadrangeof500to750lb.

thantheoriginaltiresdonotincreasetheGVWRandGAWR
limitations.
