Lengthenthelapbelt.Tolengthenthebelt,holdthetonguesothatits
bottomisperpendiculartothedirectionofwebbingwhileslidingthe
tongueupthewebbing.

Placethechildsafetyseatinthecenterseatingposition.
Routethetongueandwebbingthroughthechildseataccordingtothe
childseatmanufacturer’sinstructions.

Insertthebelttongueintotheproperbuckleforthecenterseating
positionuntilyouhearasnapandfeelitlatch.Makesurethetongueis
securelyfastenedtothebucklebypullingontongue.

Pushdownonthechildseatwhilepullingonthelooseendofthelap
beltwebbingtotightenthebelt.

Ifyouareinstallingaforwardfacingchildseat,attachandtightenany
toptetherstrap.

Beforeplacingthechildintothechildseat,forciblytiltthechildseat
fromsidetosideandinforwarddirectiontomakesurethattheseatis
heldsecurelyinplace.Ifthechildseatmovesexcessively,repeatSteps5
through7,tryadifferentchildsafetyseat,orproperlyinstallthechild
seatinadifferentposition.

goesoverthebackoftheseatandhookstoananchoringpoint.Tether
