securelylatchedtothebuckleby
pullingonthetongue.

Whilepushingdownwithyour
kneeonthechildseatpullupon
theshoulderbeltportiontotighten
thelapbeltportionofthe
combinationlapandshoulderbelt.
7.
Allowthesafetybelttoretractandremoveanyslackinthebeltto
securelytightenthechildsafetyseatinthevehicle.
8.
Beforeplacingthechildintothe
childseat,forciblypullthechild
seatforwardandbacktomakesure
thattheseatisheldsecurelyin
place.Tocheckthis,grabtheseat
atthebeltpathandattemptto
moveitsidetosideandforwardand
back.Thereshouldbenomorethan
oneinchofmovementforproper
installation.
