slowlyespeciallywhenthedepthis
notknown.Neverdrivethrough
waterthatishigherthanthebottom
ofthewheelrims(forcars)orthe
bottomofthehubs(fortrucks).
Whendrivingthroughwater,tractionorbrakecapabilitymaybelimited.
Also,watermayenteryourengine’sairintakeandseverelydamageyour
engineoryourvehiclemaystall.Drivingthroughdeepwaterwhere
thetransmissionventtubeissubmergedmayallowwaterintothe
transmissionandcauseinternaltransmissiondamage.
Oncethroughthewater,alwaysdrythebrakesbymovingyour
vehicleslowlywhileapplyinglightpressureonthebrakepedal.
Wetbrakesdonotstopthevehicleasquicklyasdrybrakes.

RegularCabandSuperCabequippedwiththe5.4Lengine,HeavyDuty
PayloadPackageandSnowPlowPrepPackage.TheHeavyDutyPayload
Packagefor4x4includesuniquepowertraincontrolstrategy,requiredfor
enginecoolingwhentheraisedsnowplowbladeblocksradiatorairflowin
highwaydriving.F–150SuperCrewandHarley-DavidsonF–150arenot
recommendedforsnowplowingandtheSnowPlowPrepPackageisnot
available.
