assemblywhichismadeupofonebuckleandonetonguethat
aredesignedtobeusedasapair.1)Usetheshoulderbeltonthe
outsideshoulderonly.Neverweartheshoulderbeltunderthearm.2)
Neverswingthesafetybeltaroundyourneckovertheinsideshoulder.

Neveruseasinglebeltformorethanoneperson.
Whileyouarefastenedinthesafetybelt,thecombinationlap/shoulder
beltwithacinchtongueadjuststoyourmovement.However,ifyou
brakehard,turnhard,orifyourvehiclereceivesanimpactof8km/h
(5
mph)ormore,thesafetybeltwillbecomelockedandhelpreduce
yourforwardmovement.

Thelapbeltshouldfitsnuglyandaslowaspossiblearoundthe
hips,notacrossthewaist.
Thefrontcenterlapbelttongueisdesignedtofitonlyinthecorrect
buckle.Thetonguewillnotsecurelylatchifyouattempttouseitinany
oftheoutboardseatingpositionbuckles.Toensurethatyouhaveused
thecorrectbuckleyoushouldhearasnapandfeelitlatch.

Thelapbeltdoesnotadjustautomatically.
Insertthetongueintothecorrect
buckle(thebuckleclosesttothe
directionthetongueiscoming
from).Tolengthenthebelt,turnthe
tongueatarightangletothebelt
andpullacrossyourlapuntilit
reachesthebuckle.Totightenthe
belt,pullthelooseendofthebelt
throughthetongueuntilitfits
snuglyacrossthehips.
