Neverplaceyourarmsorfeetovertheairbagmoduleasa
deployingairbagcanresultinseriousfracturesorotherinjuries.
Toproperlypositionyourselfawayfromtheairbag:

Moveyourseattotherearasfarasyoucanwhilestillreachingthe
pedalscomfortably.
Reclinetheseatslightlyoneortwodegreesfromtheuprightposition.
Donotputanythingonor
overtheairbagcover(1).
Placingobjectsonoroverthe
airbagcovermaycausethose
objectstobethrownbytheairbag
intoyourfaceandtorsoormay
resultinafailureoftheairbagto
inflateproperly,bothofwhich
couldresultinseriousinjury.
Donotattempttoservice,repair,ormodifytheairbag
supplementalrestraintsystemsoritsfuses.Seeyourauthorized
dealer.
Thefrontpassengerairbagisnotdesignedtoofferprotectionto
anoccupantinthecenterfrontseatingposition.
Modifyingoraddingequipmenttothefrontendofthevehicle
(includingframe,bumper,frontendbodystructureandtow
hooks)mayaffecttheperformanceoftheairbagsystem,increasingthe
riskofinjury.Donotmodifythefrontendofthevehicle.
