andforward.Thereshouldbeno
morethanoneinchofmovementfor
properinstallation.

Trytopullthebeltoutoftheretractortomakesuretheretractoris
intheautomaticlockingmode(youshouldnotbeabletopullmorebelt
out).Iftheretractorisnotlocked,unbucklethebeltandrepeatSteps
twothroughnine.
Checktomakesurethechildseatisproperlysecuredbeforeeachuse.
Installingchildsafetyseatsincinchtonguecombinationlapand
shoulderbeltseatingposition
(RegularCabCenterseatingpositionOnly)
Ifyouareusingaregularcabcenterseat,seeCenterfrontsafetybelt
(RegularCabcenterseatingpositiononly)earlierinthischapterfor
instructionsonattachingthemini-buckle.
Thebeltwebbingbelowthetongueisthelapportionofthecombination
lap/shoulderbelt,andthebeltwebbingabovethetongueistheshoulder
beltportionofthecombinationlap/shoulderbelt.
AlwaysusebothlapandshouldersafetybeltintheRegularCab
centerseatingposition.
