Tapping the Electronic Speed Control lever to RESUME
ACCEL once will result in a 1 mph (1.6 km/h) speed
increase.EachtimetheElectronicSpeedControlleveris
tappedspeedincreases,sotappingtheElectronicSpeed
Control lever three times will increase speed by 3 mph
To Accelerate For Passing
Depresstheacceleratorasyouwouldnormally.Whenthe
pedalisreleased,thevehiclewillreturntothesetspeed.
UsingElectronicSpeedControlonHills
(4.8
km/h),etc.
NOTE: TheElectronicSpeedControlsystemmaintains    3
speed up and down hills. A slight speed change on
moderatehillsisnormal.
TodecreasespeedwhileElectronicSpeedControlisset,
pushdownandholdtheElectronicSpeedControllever
in SET DECEL. Release the Electronic Speed Control
leverwhenthedesiredspeedisreached,andanewset
speedwillbeestablished.
Theautomatictransmissionwilldownshiftwhileclimb-
ing uphill or descending downhill. This downshift is
necessarytomaintainvehiclesetspeed.
Tapping the Electronic Speed Control lever to SET DE-
CEL once will result in a 1 mph (1.6 km/h) speed
decrease.EachtimetheElectronicSpeedControlleveris
tapped,speeddecreases.
Onsteephills,agreaterspeedlossorgainmayoccur,so
it may be preferable to drive without Electronic Speed
Control.
