Atransienthightensionoccursatthebulbsocketsof
HIDheadlightswhentheheadlightswitchisturned
ON.Itmaycauseseriouselectricalshockorelectro-
cution if not serviced properly. See your authorized
dealerforservice.
Low Beam Headlight, High Beam Headlight, and
Park/Turn Light – 300C
NOTE:
On vehicles equipped with HID Headlights,
whentheheadlightsareturnedon,thereisabluehueto
thelights.Thisdiminishesandbecomesmorewhiteafter
approximately10seconds,asthesystemcharges.
HighIntensityDischargeHeadlights(HID)—If
Equipped
Theheadlightsareatypeofhighvoltagedischargetube.
High voltage can remain in the circuit even with the
headlight switch off and the key removed. Because of
this,youshouldnotattempttoserviceaheadlightbulb
yourself.Ifaheadlightbulbfails,takeyourvehicleto
anauthorizeddealerforservice.
