ACCwillnotdetectavehicleuntilitiscompletelyinthe
laneinwhichyouaretraveling.Intheillustrationshown,
ACChasnotyetdetectedthevehiclechanginglanesand
itwillnotuntilitmaybetoolatetotakeaction.ACCwill
not detect a vehicle until it is completely in the lane.
Therewillnotbesufficientdistancetothelane-changing
vehicle. Always be attentive and ready to apply the
brakesifnecessary.

NarrowVehicles
Some narrow vehicles traveling near the outer edges of
thelaneoredgingintothelanearenotdetecteduntilthey
have moved fully into the lane. There will not be suffi-
cientdistancetothevehicleahead.
