years, regardless of the remaining tread. Failure to
followthiswarningcanresultinsuddentirefailure.
Youcouldlosecontrolandhaveanaccidentresulting
inseriousinjuryordeath.
Theseindicatorsaremoldedintothebottomofthetread
grooves.Theywillappearasbandswhenthetreaddepth
becomes1/16in(2mm).Whenthetreadisworntothe
treadwearindicators,thetireshouldbereplaced.
