DisposingofUsedEngineOilandOilFilters
Careshouldbetakenindisposingofusedengineoiland
oil filters from your vehicle. Used oil and oil filters,
indiscriminatelydiscarded,canpresentaproblemtothe
environment. Contact your authorized dealer, service
station,orgovernmentalagencyforadviceonhowand
whereusedoilandoilfilterscanbesafelydiscardedin
yourarea.
Lubricantswhichdonothaveboth,theengineoilcerti-
ficationmarkandthecorrectSAEviscositygradenum-
bershouldnotbeused.
SyntheticEngineOils

oilchange.
You may use synthetic engine oils provided the recom-
mendedoilqualityrequirementsaremet,andtherecom-
mendedmaintenanceintervalsforoilandfilterchanges
arefollowed.

of replacement filters varies considerably. Only high
quality filters should be used to assure most efficient

detection dyes, to your engine oil. Engine oil is an
engineered product and its performance may be im-
