ignition.

Turntheignitionfromthe1(off)
positiontothe3(on)position.Keep
theignitioninthe3(on)position
foratleastthreeseconds,butno
morethan10seconds.

Turntheignitiontothe1(off)positionandremovethefirstcoded
keyfromtheignition.

Afterthreesecondsbutwithin10secondsofturningtheignitiontothe
(off)position,insertthesecondpreviouslycodedkeyintotheignition.

Turntheignitionfromthe1(off)positiontothe3(on)position.Keep
theignitioninthe3(on)positionforatleastthreeseconds,butnomore
than10seconds.
6.
Turntheignitiontothe1(off)positionandremovethesecond
previouslyprogrammedcodedkeyfromtheignition.

Afterthreesecondsbutwithin20secondsofturningtheignitiontothe
(off)positionandremovingthepreviouslyprogrammedcodedkey,
insertthenewunprogrammedkey(newkey/valetkey)intotheignition.
8.
Turntheignitionfromthe1(off)positiontothe3(on)position.Keep
theignitioninthe3(on)positionforatleastsixseconds.
9.
Removethenewlyprogrammedcodedkeyfromtheignition.
Ifthekeyhasbeensuccessfullyprogrammeditwillstartthevehicle’s
engineandwilloperatetheremoteentrysystem(ifthenewkeyisan
IntegratedKeyheadTransmitter).Thetheftindicatorlightwillilluminate
forthreesecondsandthengoouttoindicatesuccessfulprogramming.
Ifthekeywasnotsuccessfullyprogrammed,itwillnotstartyour
vehicle’sengineand/orwillnotoperatetheremoteentryfeatures.The
theftindicatorlightmayflashonandoff.Wait20secondsandyoumay
repeatSteps1through8.Iffailurerepeats,bringyourvehicletoyour
authorizeddealertohavethenewkey(s)programmed.
Toprogramadditionalnewunprogrammedkey(s),wait20secondsand
thenrepeatthisprocedurefromStep1.
