Recirculatedair:Presstoactivate/deactivateairrecirculation
inthevehicle.Recirculatedairmayreducetheamountoftimeneededto
cooldowntheinteriorofthevehicleandmayalsohelpreduceundesired
odorsfromreachingtheinteriorofthevehicle.Recirculatedairengages
automaticallywhenMAXA/Cisselectedorcanbeengagedmanuallyin
anyairflowmodeexcept
(defrost).Recirculatedairmayturnoff
automaticallyinallairflowmodesexceptMAXA/C.Whentheignition
switchisturnedoffandbackon,theclimatesystemwillreturntothe
recirculatedairmodeonlyiftheA/CbuttonLEDisilluminatedandthe
airdistributionselectioniseither
(panel)or
(panel/floor).
Recirculationmayturnoffautomaticallyinsomeairflowmodestoreduce
fogpotential.

MAXA/C:Distributesrecirculatedairthroughtheinstrumentpanel
ventstocoolthevehicle.Thisre-coolingoftheinteriorairismore
economicalandefficient.Recirculatedairmayalsohelpreduce
undesirableodorsfromenteringthevehicle.PresstheMAXA/Cbutton
againfornormalA/Coperation.

A/C:Presstoactivate/deactivateairconditioning.Usewith
recirculatedairtoimprovecoolingperformanceandefficiency.Engages
automaticallyinMAXA/C,      (defrost)and
(floor/defrost).

Driverheatedseatcontrol(ifequipped):Pressto
activate/deactivatethedriverheatedseat.SeeHeatedseatsinthe
SeatingandSafetyRestraintschapter.
Outsidetemperature(ifequipped):Theoutsidetemperaturewill
appearinthedisplayandislabeledEXTTEMP.Tochangethedisplay
betweenFahrenheitandCelsius,seeMessagecenterintheInstrument
Clusterchapter.
