Pressandreleasethebuttonagain.Thegaragedoorshouldmove,
confirmingthatprogrammingissuccessful.Ifyourgaragedoordoesnot
operate,repeatthepreviousstepsinthissection.
Aftersuccessfulprogramming,youwillbeabletooperateyourCar2U௡
systembypressingthebuttonyouprogrammedtoactivatetheopener.
Theindicatorlightabovetheselectedbuttonwillturnontoconfirmthat
theCar2U௡systemisrespondingtothebuttoncommand.
Toprogramanotherrollingcodedevicesuchasanadditionalgaragedoor
opener,asecuritydeviceorhomelighting,repeatSteps1through4
substitutingadifferentfunctionbuttoninStep3thanwhatyouusedfor
thegaragedooropener.Forexample,youcouldassigntheleft-most
buttontothegaragedoor,thecenterbuttontoasecuritydevice,and
theright-mostbuttontoanothergaragedooropener.
Note:TheCar2U௡systemallowsforthreedevicestobeprogrammed.If
youneedtochangeorreplaceanyofthethreedevicesafterithasbeen
initiallyprogrammed,itisnecessarytoerasethecurrentsettingsusing
theErasingtheCar2U௡HomeAutomationSystembuttonsprocedure
andthenprogrammingallofthedevicesbeingused.
Fixedcodeprogramming
Note:DonotprogramtheCar2U௡systemwiththevehicleinthegarage.
Makesurethatyourkeyisonandengineoffwhileprogrammingthe
transmitter.

ToprogramunitswithfixedcodeDIPswitches,youwillneedthe
garagedoorhand-heldtransmitter,paperandapenorpencil.
2.
Openthebatterycoverandrecordtheswitchsettingsfromleftto
rightforall8to12switches.Usethefigurebelow:
Whenaswitchisintheup,on,or+position,circle“L.”
Whenaswitchisinthemiddle,neutral,or0position,circle“M.”
Whenaswitchisinthedown,off,or–position,circle“R.”
