Slidethecross-barassemblyoff
theendoftherail.
Besuretocheckthatthethumbwheelsaretighteachtimeloadis
added,orremovedfromtheroofrack,andperiodicallywhiletraveling.
Alwaysensuretheloadissecurebeforetraveling.
Note:Whenthecrossbarsareinstalledandunloaded,noisecanbe
minimizedbyremoving,orre-positioningthecrossbars.Positionthe
forwardcrossbarrearwardofthecenteroftheroofrailsystemby2.5in
(63.5
mm)andspacethesecondcrossbar2.5in(63.5mm)fromthe
forwardcrossbar.
Toreinstallthecross-barassembly(ifequipped)totheroofrack
siderails:
1.
Ensurethatbothcross-bar
assembliesareinstalledwiththeF
(front)arrowfacingtowardsthe
frontofthevehicle.
2.
Usealong,flatobjecttopress
thetongueintheendcapsonboth
sidesofthecross-bar.
3.
Slidethecross-barassemblies
overtheendcaptongueandinto
thesiderails.
4.
Tightenthumbwheelatbothends
ofthecross-bar.
