Yourvehicleisequippedwithacomputerthatmonitorstheengine’s
emissioncontrolsystem.Thissystemiscommonlyknownasthe
on-boarddiagnosticssystem(OBD-II).TheOBD-IIsystemprotectsthe
environmentbyensuringthatyourvehiclecontinuestomeet
governmentemissionstandards.TheOBD-IIsystemalsoassistsyour
authorizeddealerinproperlyservicingyourvehicle.Whentheservice
