WARNING:Rememberthatevenadvancedtechnologycannot
defythelawsofphysics.It’salwayspossibletolosecontrolofa
vehicleduetoinappropriatedriverinputfortheconditions.Aggressive
drivingonanyroadconditioncancauseyoutolosecontrolofyour
vehicleincreasingtheriskofpersonalinjuryorpropertydamage.
ActivationoftheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemisanindicationthat
atleastsomeofthetireshaveexceededtheirabilitytogriptheroad;
thiscouldreducetheoperator’sabilitytocontrolthevehicle,
potentiallyresultinginalossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,
personalinjuryanddeath.IfyourAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡system
activates,SLOWDOWN.
WARNING:Ifafailurehasbeendetectedwithinthe
AdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡system,thestabilitycontrollightwill
illuminatesteadily.Havethesystemservicedbyanauthorizeddealer
immediately.OperatingyourvehiclewithAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡
disabledcouldleadtoanincreasedriskoflossofvehiclecontrol,
vehiclerollover,personalinjuryanddeath.
TheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemautomaticallyenableseachtime
theengineisstarted.AllfeaturesoftheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡system
(TCS,ESC,andRSC௡)areactiveandmonitorthevehiclefromstart-up.
However,thesystemwillonlyinterveneifthedrivingsituationrequires
it.
TheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡
systemincludesatractioncontrol
offbuttonontheinstrumentpanel
belowtheclimatecontrol,astability
control“OFF”lightandastabilitycontrollightintheinstrumentcluster.
Thestabilitycontrollightandstabilitycontrol“OFF”lightinthe
instrumentclusterwillilluminatetemporarilyduringstart-upaspartofa
normalsystemself-check,orduringdrivingifadrivingsituationcauses
theAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemtooperate.Thestabilitycontroloff
lightwillilluminateiftractioncontrolortrailerswaycontrolaredisabled
afterpressingtheTCSOFFswitch.Ifthestabilitycontrollightremains
steadilyilluminated,havethesystemservicedbyanauthorizeddealer
immediately.
