Clipthetetherstraptothe
anchorasshown.
Thearrowintheabovegraphic
pointstowardthefrontofthe
vehicle.
Ifthetetherstrapisclipped
incorrectly,thechildsafetyseatmay
notberetainedproperlyinthe
eventofacollision.
4.
Tightenthechildsafetyseat
tetherstrapaccordingtothe
manufacturer’sinstructions.
Ifthesafetyseatisnotanchoredproperly,theriskofachildbeing
injuredinacollisiongreatlyincreases.
Ifyourchildrestraintsystemisequippedwithatetherstrap,andthe
childrestraintmanufacturerrecommendsitsuse,Fordalsorecommends
itsuse.
