(BTSI)covercaplocatedtothe
rightofthegearshiftlever.

Insertascrewdriverorsimilar
toolstraightdownintotheaccess
holeandpressdownwardwhile
pullingthegearshiftleveroutofthe
P(Park)positionandintotheN
(Neutral)position.
4.
Removetoolandreinstallthe
BTSIcovercap.
5.
Startthevehicleandreleasethe
parkingbrake.
WARNING:Donotdriveyourvehicleuntilyouverifythatthe
brakelampsareworking.
WARNING:Alwayssettheparkingbrakefullyandmakesure
thegearshiftislatchedinP(Park).Turntheignitiontotheoff
positionandremovethekeywheneveryouleaveyourvehicle.
WARNING:Iftheparkingbrakeisfullyreleased,butthebrake
warninglampremainsilluminated,thebrakesmaynotbe
workingproperly.Seeyourauthorizeddealerassoonaspossible.
