Rotateseatcushiondownintothe
seatingpositionmakingsurethat
theseatcushionislockedintoplace
andthatthesafetybeltbucklesare
exposed.
WARNING:Makesure
safetybeltbuckleheadsare
throughelasticholdersonseat
backs.Safetybeltbucklesmay
breakiftheyaretrapped
underneaththeseatbackasthe
seatbackisrotateddown.
WARNING:Beforereturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginal
position,makesurethatcargooranyobjectsarenottrapped
behindtheseatback.Afterreturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginal
position,reinstalltheheadrestraints,andpullontheseatbackto
ensurethatithasfullylatched.Anunlatchedseatmaybecome
dangerousintheeventofasuddenstoporcollision.

Unsnapthesafetybeltwebbingfromthequartertrimpanel.
Removethesecondrowheadrestraintfromunderneaththefrontseat
andreinstall.SeeSecondrowadjustableheadrestraintsinthis
chapter.
Toremovethesecondrowcushion
1.
Lifttheyellowtabtoreleasethe
hinges.
2.
Pullthecushiontotheoutboard
sideofthevehicle.
