Adjustthesoundonyourportablemusicplayeruntilitreachesthe
leveloftheFMstationorCDbyswitchingbackandforthbetweenthe
AUXandFMorCDcontrols.
Troubleshooting:
1.
Donotconnecttheaudioinputjacktoalineleveloutput.Linelevel
outputsareintendedforconnectiontoahomestereoandarenot
compatiblewiththeAIJ.TheAIJwillonlyworkcorrectlywithdevices
thathaveaheadphoneoutputwithavolumecontrol.
2.
Donotsettheportablemusicplayer’svolumelevelhigherthanis
necessarytomatchthevolumeoftheCDorFMradioinyouraudio
systemasthiswillcausedistortionandwillreducesoundquality.Many
portablemusicplayershavedifferentoutputlevels,sonotallplayers
shouldbesetatthesamelevels.Someplayerswillsoundbestatfull
volumeandotherswillneedtobesetatalowervolume.
3.
Ifthemusicsoundsdistortedatlowerlisteninglevels,turnthe
portablemusicplayervolumedown.Iftheproblemspersists,replaceor
rechargethebatteriesintheportablemusicplayer.
4.
Theportablemusicplayermustbecontrolledinthesamemanner
whenitisusedwithheadphonesastheAIJdoesnotprovidecontrol
(play,pause,etc.)overtheattachedportablemusicplayer.
5.
Forsafetyreasons,connectingoradjustingthesettingsonyour
portablemusicplayershouldnotbeattemptedwhilethevehicleis
moving.Also,theportablemusicplayershouldbestoredinasecure
location,suchasthecenterconsoleortheglovebox,whenthevehicleis
inmotion.Theaudioextensioncablemustbelongenoughtoallowthe
portablemusicplayertobesafelystoredwhilethevehicleisinmotion.
