Ifyourvehicleloseselectricalpowerwhileyouaredriving(orifthe
ignitionisturnedoff),youcansteerthevehiclemanually,butittakes
moreeffort.Underextremeusageconditions,thesteeringeffortmay
increase.Thisoccurstopreventoverheatingandpermanentdamageto
yoursteeringsystem.Ifthisshouldoccur,youwillneitherlosetheability
tosteerthevehiclemanuallynorwillitcausepermanentdamage.
Typicalsteeringanddrivingmaneuverswillallowthesystemtocooland
steeringassistwillreturntonormal.

significantlymorelikelytodiethanapersonwearingaseatbelt.
Utilityvehiclesandtruckshavelargertiresandincreasedgroundclearance,
givingthevehicleahighercenterofgravitythanapassengercar.
