couldlockthemselvesintheboxandriskinjury.Childrenshouldbe
taughtnottoplayinvehicles.
Onhotdays,thetemperatureinthepickupboxcanrisevery
quickly.Exposureofpeopleoranimalstothesehigh
temperaturesforevenashorttimecancausedeathorserious
heat-relatedinjuries,includingbraindamage.Smallchildrenare
particularlyatrisk.
REMOTE ENTRY SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCCrulesandwithRS-210of
IndustryCanada.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:
(1)
mustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmay
causeundesiredoperation.
Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and(2)Thisdevice
Changesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbytheparty
responsibleforcompliancecouldvoidtheuser’sauthorityto
operatetheequipment.
Dependinguponwhenyourvehiclewasmanufactured,theremoteentry
featuresmayoperatedifferently:
•
theremoteentryfeatureswillonlyoperatewiththeignitioninthe
LOCKposition.Additionally,thissystemwilldisablethepowerdoor
lockcontrols,whichwillremaininoperativeuntilthevehicleis
disarmed.Or,
•
theremoteentryfeatures,withtheexceptionofthePANICcontrol,
willoperateinallignitionpositions;thePANICalarmonlyoperates
withtheignitionintheLOCKposition.
Ifthereisanypotentialremotekeylessentryproblemwithyourvehicle,
ensureALLremoteentrytransmittersarebroughttothedealership,
toaidintroubleshooting.
