designedforcorneringatspeedsashighaspassengercarsanymore
thanlow-slungsportscarsaredesignedtoperformsatisfactorilyunder
off-roadconditions.Avoidsharpturns,excessivespeedandabrupt
maneuversinthesevehicles.Failuretodrivecautiouslycouldresultin
anincreasedriskoflossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,personal
injuryanddeath.

Ifthevehiclegoesfromonetypeofsurfacetoanother(i.e.,from
concretetogravel)therewillbeachangeinthewaythevehicle
respondstoamaneuver(steering,accelerationorbraking).Again,
avoidtheseabruptinputs.
Parking
Onsome4WDvehicles,whenthetransfercaseisintheN(Neutral)
position,theengineandtransmissionaredisconnectedfromtherestof
thedriveline.Therefore,thevehicleisfreetorolleveniftheautomatic
transmissionisinP(Park)orthemanualtransmissionisingear.Donot
leavethevehicleunattendedwiththetransfercaseintheN(Neutral)
position.Alwayssettheparkingbrakefullyandturnofftheignition
whenleavingthevehicle.
4WDSystems
4WD(whenyouselecta4WDmode)usesallfourwheelstopowerthe
vehicle.Thisincreasestraction,enablingyoutodriveoverterrainand
roadconditionsthataconventionaltwo-wheeldrivevehiclecannot.
