resistancetoturningwillbefelt
whenproperlyengaged.

Turnthehandlecounterclockwise
untiltireisloweredtotheground
andthecableisslightlyslack.
5.
Removetheretainerfromthesparetire.
Stowingthesparetire

Laythetireonthegroundwiththevalvestemfacingup.
Installtheretainerthroughthe
wheelcenterandslidethewheel
underthevehicle.
3.
Turnthesparehandleclockwise
untilthetireisraisedtoitsoriginal
positionunderneaththevehicle.The
sparehandleratchetswhenthetire
israisedtothestowedposition.It
willnotallowyoutoovertighten.
4.
IfyourvehicleisequippedwithP265/75R15ATtires,donotstowa
flatorinflatedfullsizesparetireinthesparetirecarrier.Theflatfull
sizetireshouldbestowedandtieddowninthepickupboxbeduntilit
canberepaired.
