Ifequipped,unlockandremove
thesparetirecarrierlockfromthe
rearaccessholelocatedjustabove
therearbumperandbelowthe
tailgate.
3.
Insertthestraightendofthejack
handleintotherearaccesshole
locatedjustabovetherearbumper
andbelowthetailgate.
Forwardmotionwillstopand
resistancetoturningwillbefelt
whenproperlyengaged.
4.
Turnthehandlecounterclockwise
untiltireisloweredtotheground
andthecableisslightlyslack.
5.
Removetheretainerfromthesparetire.
Stowingthesparetire
1.
2.
Laythetireonthegroundwiththevalvestemfacingup.
Installtheretainerthroughthe
wheelcenterandslidethewheel
underthevehicle.
3.
Turnthesparehandleclockwise
untilthetireisraisedtoitsoriginal
positionunderneaththevehicle.The
sparehandleratchetswhenthetire
israisedtothestowedposition.It
willnotallowyoutoovertighten.
4.
IfyourvehicleisequippedwithP265/75R15ATtires,donotstowa
flatorinflatedfullsizesparetireinthesparetirecarrier.Theflatfull
sizetireshouldbestowedandtieddowninthepickupboxbeduntilit
canberepaired.
