controltoengagethefeature.ThedisplaywillreadTRAFFICON.
Thisfeaturealsoallowsyoutocontrolthevolumeoftraffic
announcements.WiththedisplayreadingTRAFFICON,adjustthe
volumeusingthevolumecontroltothedesiredlevel.Thevolumelevel
willshowatthebottomofthedisplay.Interruptingtraffic
announcementswillbeattheselectedvolumelevel.
Todisengagethefeature,presstheMENUcontroluntilTRAFFICON
displays.PresstheSELcontrol.ThedisplaywillreadTRAFFICOFF.
RDStrafficseekfeature
Whenintrafficmode,youcanusetheSEEKfeaturetoseekupordown
thelistenabletrafficcapablefrequencies.
WiththeRDSactivated,pressMENUuntilTRAFFICONisdisplayed.
PressandholdtheSEEKcontroluntilthedesiredselectionisreached.
Thefeaturedisengageswhenthecontrolisreleased.
RDStrafficscanfeature
Whenintrafficmode,youcanusetheSCANfeaturetoscanupthe
frequencybandforlistenabletrafficcapablefrequencies.
WiththeRDSactivated,presstheMENUcontroluntilTRAFFICONis
displayed.PresstheSCANcontrol.SCANTRAFFICwilldisplay.The
audiosystemwillscantoalltrafficcapablefrequencies.Ifnovalid
stationsarefoundafteronepass,thescanfunctioniscancelledandNOT
FOUNDdisplays.
TrafficannouncementsarenotavailableinmostU.S.markets.
