Illuminated entry
Theinteriorlampsilluminatewhentheremoteentrysystemisusedto
unlockthedoor(s)orsoundthepersonalalarm.
Thesystemautomaticallyturnsoffafter25secondsorwhentheignition
isturnedtotheRUNorACCposition.Thedomelampcontrol(if
equipped)mustnotbesettotheOFFpositionfortheilluminatedentry
systemtooperate.
Theinsidelightswillnotturnoffif:

theyhavebeenturnedonwiththedimmercontrol,or
anydoorisopen.
Thebatterysaverwillshutofftheinteriorlamps45minutesafterthe
ignitionhasbeenturnedtotheOFFposition.
SECURILOCKி PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM  (IF EQUIPPED)
SecuriLock௢passiveanti-theftsystemisanengineimmobilization
system.Thissystemisdesignedtopreventtheenginefrombeingstarted
unlessacodedkeyprogrammedtoyourvehicleisused.
TheSecuriLock௢passiveanti-theftsystemisnotcompatiblewith
non-Fordaftermarketremotestartsystems.Useofthesesystemsmay
resultinvehiclestartingproblemsandalossofsecurityprotection.
THEFT INDICATOR (IF EQUIPPED)
Thetheftindicatoristheflashingredindicatorlocatedontopofthe
instrumentpanel.

WhentheignitionisintheOFFposition,theindicatorwillflashonce
every2secondstoindicatetheSecuriLock௢systemisfunctioningas
atheftdeterrent.

WhentheignitionisintheONposition,theindicatorwillglowfor3
secondstoindicatenormalsystemfunctionality.
IfaproblemoccurswiththeSecuriLock௢system,theindicatorwillflash
rapidlyorglowsteadilywhentheignitionisintheONposition.Ifthis
occurs,thevehicleshouldbetakentoanauthorizedForddealerfor
service.
