Activating overdrive
(Overdrive)isthenormaldrivepositionforthebestfueleconomy.
Theoverdrivefunctionallowsautomaticupshiftsanddownshiftsthrough
allavailablegears.
Deactivating overdrive
PresstheTransmissionControl
Switch(TCS)locatedontheendof
thegearshiftlever.The
O/D
ON/OFF
TransmissionControlIndicatorLight
(TCIL)willilluminateonthe
instrumentcluster.Thetransmissionwilloperateinallgearsexcept
overdrive.
Toreturntonormaloverdrivemode,
presstheTransmissionControl
O/D
ON/OFF
Switchagain.TheTCILwillno
longerbeilluminated.
Whenyoushutoffandre-startyour
vehicle,thetransmissionwillautomaticallyreturntonormal
(Overdrive)mode.
