Replacing lost transmitters

andyouwouldliketoremoveit
fromthevehicle’smemory,oryou
wouldliketopurchaseadditional
remotetransmittersandhavethem
programmedtoyourvehicle:

Takeallyourvehicle’s
transmitterstoyourdealerfor
programming,or
•
Performtheprogramming
procedureyourself.
Programmingremotetransmitters
Itisnecessarytohaveall(maximumoffour—originaland/ornew)of
yourremotetransmittersavailablepriortobeginningthisprocedure.
Toprogramthetransmittersyourself:
•
Placethekeyintheignitionand
turnfrom2(LOCK)to3(OFF)
andcyclebetween3(OFF)and4
(ON)eighttimesinrapid

succession(within10seconds)
withtheeighthturnendinginthe

(ON)position.Thedoorswill
lock/unlocktoconfirmthat
programmingmodehasbeen
entered.

Within20seconds,programa
remotetransmitterbypressinganybuttononatransmitter.Thedoors
willlock/unlocktoconfirmthattheremotetransmitterhasbeen
programmed.(Ifmorethan20secondspassbeforepressingaremote
transmitterbutton,theprogrammingmodewillexitandtheprocedure
willhavetoberepeated.)
•

Repeattheprevioussteptoprogramadditionalremotetransmitters.
Thedoorswilllock/unlocktoconfirmthateachremotetransmitterhas
beenprogrammed.
Whenyouhavecompletedprogrammingtheremotetransmitters,turn
theignitionto3(OFF).Againthedoorswilllock/unlocktoconfirm
programminghasbeencompleted.
