position,iftheauxiliarykeyisinserted
inthekeyslot,removeit.
Openingthetrunklidbyoperatingthe
trunklidreleasebutton.

2. Makesurethehoodandthetrunklid
areclosed.Closeandlockalldoorsand
thetrunklidfromtheoutsideusingthe
key.Ifyouhavethekeylessentry
system,pressthelockbuttononthe
transmitter.

Pressarequestswitchonthedoorsor
thelockbuttononthetransmitter.
Ifthesystemistriggeredagain,thelights
andhornwillactivateuntiladooris
unlockedorthetrunklidisopenedwith
thekeyorwiththetransmitter.
(Withadvancedkey)
Thelightsandhorncanalsobe
deactivatedbyunlockingadoorusingthe
sensorontheinsideofthedoorhandle.
(Withoutadvancedkey)
Thefollowingmethodwillalsoarmthe
theft-deterrentsystem:
Closethehoodandthetrunklid.Press
theareaonthedoor-lockswitch
marked“ ”once.Closealldoors.
Thehazardwarninglightswillflash
oncetoindicatethatthesystemis
armed.
NOTE
Ifthebatterygoesdeadwhilethetheft-
deterrentsystemisarmed,thehornwill
activateandthehazardwarninglightswill
flashwhenthebatteryischargedorreplaced.
Thetheftdeterrentsystemcanalsobe
armedbyactivatingtheautore-lock
functionwithallthedoors,thetrunklid
andthehoodclosed.

After20seconds,thesystemisfully
armed.
