Afterunlocking thedoorsusingthesensor
ontheinsideofthedoorhandle,allthe
doorswillautomatically lockifanyofthe
following operations arenotdonewithin
about30seconds.Ifyourvehiclehasa
theft-deterrent system,thehazardwarning
lightswillflashforconfirmation.
Thetimerequiredforthedoorstolock
automatically canbechanged.
Iftheadvanced keyisleftinthetrunk,the

trunklidwillclose,however,thetrunklid
canbeopenedusingtherequestswitchand
thevehiclecouldbestolen.
WhiletheignitionisswitchedON,thetrunk
lidcanbeopenedonlywhenthevehicleis
stoppedwiththeparkingbrakeapplied
(manualtransaxle) orwiththeselector
leverinthePposition(automatic
transaxle).

heard,thisindicatesthatthesteering
wheelisnotunlocked.Tounlockthe
steeringwheel,jigglethesteeringwheel
fromsidetosidewhilepressingthepush
buttonstart.
Thetrunklidcanbeopenedbypressing
therequestswitchontheundersideofthe
trunklidabovethelicenseplatewhilethe
advancedkeyisbeingcarried.
