Makesurethereisnobodyintherear
seatareabeforeoperating(pulling)the

Notcheckingtherearseatareafor
personsbeforefoldingtheseatbacks
downwiththestraps(intrunk)is
dangerous.Therearseatareais
difficulttoseefromtherearofthe
vehicle.Operating(pulling)thestraps
(intrunk)withoutcheckingcould
causeinjurytoapersonwhena
seatbacksuddenlyflipsforward.

Pullonthetopoftheseatbacksfrom
insidethevehicletomakesuretheyare
locked.
CAUTION
Beforefoldingtheseatbacksdown
withthestraps(intrunk),makesure
thereisnocupinarearcupholder.
Foldingtheseatbackswiththestraps
(intrunk)whileacupisinthecup
holdercouldsoilordamagetheseat
bottomandseatback.
WARNING
Alwaysmakesuretheseatbeltsare
fullypulledoutfromunderthe
seatbacks:
Aseatbeltcaughtunderaseatback
aftertheseatbackisreturnedtoits
uprightpositionisdangerous.Ina
collisionorsuddenstop,theseatbelt
cannotprovideadequateprotection.
