fanwhichmayturnonunexpectedly:
Workingunderthehoodwiththeenginerunningisdangerous.Itbecomeseven
moredangerouswhenyouwearjewelryorlooseclothing.
Eithercanbecomeentangledinmovingpartsandresultininjury.
Switchtheignitiontooffandmakesurethefanisnotrunningbefore
attemptingtoworknearthecoolingfan:
Workingnearthecoolingfanwhenitisrunningisdangerous.Thefancould
continuerunningindefinitelyeveniftheenginehasstoppedandtheengine
compartmenttemperatureishigh.Youcouldbehitbythefanandseriouslyinjured.
Donotleaveitemsintheenginecompartment:
Afteryouhavefinishedcheckingordoingservicingintheenginecompartment,do
notforgetandleaveitemssuchastoolsorragsintheenginecompartment.
Toolsorotheritemsleftintheenginecompartmentcouldcauseenginedamageora
fireleadingtoanunexpectedaccident.
NOTE
Oncetheenginecoolantexceedsapresettemperature, anelectrical coolingfanturnson.Itwill
continuerunningforabout10minutesaftertheignitionisswitchedoff.
