Whenthevehiclehasbeendrivenandthe
fluidisatnormaloperatingtemperature,
about65°C(150°F),thelevelmustbe
betweenFullandLow.

Whentheenginehasnotbeenrunning
andtheoutsidetemperatureisabout20°C
(70°F),
thefluidlevelshouldbecloseto,
butnotabove,thebottomnotchonthe
dipstick.
CAUTION
ØUsethecoldscaleonlyasa
reference.
ØIfoutsidetemperatureislower
thanabout20°C(70°F),startthe
engineandinspectthefluidlevel
aftertheenginereachesoperating
temperature.
ØIfthevehiclehasbeendrivenfor
anextendedperiodathighspeeds
orincitytrafficinhotweather,
inspectthelevelonlyafter
stoppingtheengineandallowing
thefluidtocoolfor30minutes.
