whichcanbeindividuallyselectedand
programmedusingthetransmittersfor
current,on-marketdevicesasfollows:

programmingiscompleteandyour

Iftheindicatorlightblinksrapidlyfor
twosecondsandthenturnstoa

equippeddevice(mostcommonlya
garagedooropener).

transmitter2.5―7.5cm(1― 3inches)
awayfromtheHomeLinkbuttonyou
wishtoprogramwhilekeepingthe
indicatorlightinview.
Simultaneouslypressandholdboththe
chosenHomeLinkandhand-held
transmitterbuttons.Donotreleasethe
buttonsuntilstep4hasbeen
completed.

Atthegaragedooropenerreceiver
(motor-headunit)inthegarage,locate
the“learn”or“smart”button.Thiscan
usuallybefoundwherethehanging
antennawireisattachedtothemotor-
headunit.

changesfromaslowtoarapidly
blinkinglight,releaseboththe
HomeLinkandhand-heldtransmitter
buttons.

Returntothevehicleandfirmlypress,
holdfortwosecondsandreleasethe
programmedHomeLinkbutton.Repeat
the“press/hold/release”sequencea
secondtime,and,dependingonthe
brandofthegaragedooropener(or
otherrollingcodeequippeddevice),
repeatthissequenceathirdtimeto
completetheprogrammingprocess.
