AASmodewillholdthetransaxleinthe
gearthevehiclewasinbeforeenteringthe
curve,allowingthevehicletobe
acceleratedfromthesamegearafter
exitingthecurve.

Ifthedriveracceleratesrapidly,or
acceleratesanddeceleratesrapidlyby
operatingtheacceleratorandbrakepedal
foracertainperiodoftimewhilethe
selectorleverisintheDposition,AAS
modecouldactivate.Whenthisoccurs,
AASmodewillmaintainthetransaxlein
theoptimumgearandthedrivermay
sensethatthetransaxleisnotshifting,
howeverthisdoesnotindicatean
abnormality.
IftheshiftleverwillnotmovefromP
usingthepropershiftprocedure,continue
toholddownthepedal.
