vehicleinspected atanAuthorized Mazda
Dealerassoonaspossible.Ifthisoccurs,
theenginecanbeforce-started. Pressand
holdthepushbuttonstartuntiltheengine
starts.Otherproceduresnecessary for
startingtheenginesuchashavingthe
advanced keyinthecabin,anddepressing
thebrakepedal(Automatic transaxle) or
theclutchpedal(Manualtransaxle) are
required.
Whentheengineisforce-started, thekey
warninglight(red)remainsilluminated and
thekeyindicatorlight(green)doesnot
illuminate.

Iftheattempttostarttheengineusingthe
forced-start methodisunsuccessful, itmay
benecessary tousetheauxiliarykey.

KEYindicatorlight(green)inthe
