BeltMinder௢chime.Sittingonthesafetybeltwillincreasethe
riskofinjuryinanaccident.Todisable(one-time)ordeactivatethe
BeltMinder௢featurepleasefollowthedirectionsstatedbelow.
Onetimedisable
Anytimethesafetybeltisbuckledandthenunbuckledduringan
ignitionONcycle,theBeltMinder௢willbedisabledforthatignition
cycleonly.
Deactivating/activatingtheBeltMinderிfeature
Beforefollowingtheprocedure,makesurethat:

allvehicledoorsareclosed

withAutolamps,theAutolampsfeatureMUSTbeturnedoff.)
ReadSteps1-9thoroughlybeforeproceedingwiththe
deactivation/activationprogrammingprocedure.
BeltMinder௢deactivation/activationprocedure
Toreducetheriskofinjury,donotdeactivate/activatetheBelt
Minderfeaturewhiledrivingthevehicle.

TurntheignitionswitchtotheRUN(orON)position.(DONOT
STARTTHEENGINE)
2.
Waituntilthesafetybeltwarninglightturnsoff.(Approximately1–2
minutes)

Steps3–5mustbecompletedwithin60secondsortheprocedurewill
havetoberepeated.
3.
Atamoderatespeed,bucklethenunbucklethesafetybeltthree
times,endingwiththesafetybeltunbuckled.Thiscanbedonebeforeor
duringBeltMinder௢warningactivation.
4.
Turnontheparklamps/headlamps,turnofftheparklamps/headlamps.
5.
Atamoderatespeed,bucklethenunbucklethesafetybeltthree
times,endingwiththesafetybeltunbuckled.
