Selectingthisfunctionfromthe
INFOmenuestimatesapproximately
howfaryoucandrivewiththefuel
remaininginyourtankunder
normaldrivingconditions.
RemembertoturntheignitionOFF
whenrefuelingtoallowthisfeaturetocorrectlydetecttheaddedfuel.
TheDTEfunctionwilldisplayLOWFUELLEVELandsoundatonefor
onesecondwhenyouhaveapproximately50miles(80km)toempty.If
youRESETthiswarningmessage,thisdisplayandtonewillreturn
within10minutes.
DTEiscalculatedusingarunningaveragefueleconomy,whichisbased
onyourrecentdrivinghistoryof500miles(800km).Thisvalueisnot
thesameastheaveragefueleconomydisplay.Therunningaveragefuel
economyisreinitializedtoafactorydefaultvalueifthebatteryis
disconnected.
DistancetoemptyforFFV-equippedvehicles
Uponrefueling,yourvehicleneedstodeterminethepercentageof
Ethanolinthefuel.Forthefirstseveralminutes,orfewmilesofdriving,
themessage“COMPUTINGFUEL”mayappearinthemessagecenter.
Thecorrectdistancetoemptywillappearinthemessagecenter
followingcalculation.
