firmlyandslowlymovetoasafe
placeonthesideoftheroad.

Parkonalevelsurface,activate
thehazardflashersandsetthe
parkingbrake.

PlacegearshiftleverinP(Park)
andturnengineOFF.
Whenoneoftherearwheelsisofftheground,thetransmission
alonewillnotpreventthevehiclefrommovingorslippingoffthe
jack,evenifthetransmissionisinP(Park).
Note:Passengersshouldnotremain
inthevehiclewhenthevehicleis
beingjacked.
