warninglamparewithinthenormal
operatingrange,thereisnoneedto
addfluid.Ifthefluidlevelsare
outsideofthenormaloperating
range,theperformanceofyour
brakesystemcouldbe
compromised,seekservicefromyourdealerimmediately.
TRANSMISSION FLUID
Checking automatic transmission fluid
Theautomatictransmissiondoesnothaveatransmissionfluiddipstick.
Refertoyourscheduledmaintenanceinformationforscheduled
intervalsforfluidchecksandchanges.Yourtransmissiondoesnot
consumefluid.However,thefluidlevelshouldbecheckedifthe
transmissionisnotworkingproperly,(i.e.,ifthetransmissionslipsor
shiftsslowly)orifyounoticesomesignoffluidleakage.
Transmissionfluidshouldbecheckedand,ifrequired,fluid
shouldbeaddedbyaqualifiedtechnician.
Donotusesupplementaltransmissionfluidadditives,treatmentsor
cleaningagents.Theuseofthesematerialsmayaffecttransmission
operationandresultindamagetointernaltransmissioncomponents.
