Thisaxleprovidesaddedtractiononslipperysurfaces,particularlywhen
onewheelisonapoortractionsurface.Undernormalconditions,the
limitedslipaxlefunctionslikeastandardrearaxle.
Extendeduseofotherthanthemanufacturer’sspecifiedsizetiresona
limitedsliprearaxlecouldresultinapermanentreductionin
effectiveness.Thislossofeffectivenessdoesnotaffectnormaldriving
andshouldnotbenoticeabletothedriver.
