engineisrunning,havethesystemservicedimmediately.
PressingthecontroloncewilldisabletheAdvanceTrac௡stability
enhancement/RollStabilityControlandtheenginepowerreduction
portionofthetractionenhancementfeature;thebrakeportionofthe
tractionenhancementfeaturewillstillfunctionnormally.Pressingand
holdingthecontrolformorethanfivesecondswilldisablethe
AdvanceTrac௡stabilityenhancement/RollStabilityControlandtraction
enhancementfeature.Ifthevehicleisstuckinsnowormudorwhen
drivingindeepsand,switchingofftheAdvanceTrac௡systemmaybe
beneficialsothewheelsareallowedtospin.Ifyourvehicleseemstolose
enginepowerwhiledrivingindeepsandorverydeepsnow,switchingoff
theAdvanceTrac௡stabilityenhancementfeaturewillrestorefullengine
powerandwillenhancemomentumthroughtheobstacle.
Somedriversmaynoticeaslightmovementofthebrakepedalwhenthe
AdvanceTrac௡performsasystemself-check.DuringAdvanceTrac௡/Roll
StabilityControloperationyoumayexperiencethefollowing:

Aslightdecelerationofthevehicle
TheAdvanceTrac௡indicatorlightwillflash
Ifyourfootisonthebrakepedal,youwillfeelavibrationinthe
pedal.

Ifthedrivingconditionissevereandyourfootisnotonthebrake,the
brakepedalwillmovetoapplyhigherbrakeforces.Youmayalsohear
awhooshofairfromundertheinstrumentpanelduringthissevere
condition.
AlltheseconditionsarenormalduringAdvanceTrac௡/RollStability
Controloperation.
Donotalterormodifyyourvehicle’ssuspensionorsteering;the
resultingchangestothevehicle’shandlingcanadverselyaffect
theAdvanceTrac௡/RollStabilityControlsystem.
Note:PressingtheAdvanceTrac௡buttonwilldisableAdvanceTrac௡and
RollStabilityControl.
Aggressivedrivinginanyroadconditionscancauseyoutolose
controlofyourvehicleincreasingtheriskofseverepersonal
injuryorpropertydamage.TheoccurrenceofaAdvanceTrac௡/Roll
StabilityControleventisanindicationthatatleastsomeofthetires
haveexceededtheirabilitytogriptheroad;thismayleadtoan
increasedriskoflossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,personalinjury
anddeath.Ifyouexperienceasevereroadevent,SLOWDOWN.
