AdaptiveShiftStrategyofferstheoptimaltransmissionoperationand
shiftquality.Whenthevehicle’sbatteryhasbeendisconnectedforany
typeofserviceorrepair,thetransmissionwillneedtorelearnthenormal
shiftstrategyparameters,muchlikehavingtoresetyourradiostations
whenyourvehiclebatteryhasbeendisconnected.TheAdaptive
TransmissionStrategyallowsthetransmissiontorelearntheseoperating
parameters.Thislearningprocesscouldtakeseveraltransmission
upshiftsanddownshifts;duringthislearningprocess,slightlyfirmer
shiftsmayoccur.Afterthislearningprocess,normalshiftfeelandshift
schedulingwillresume.
