UNDERSTANDINGTHEFEATURESOFYOURVEHICLE
Tochangethebrightnessoftheinstrumentpanellights,
rotate the center portion of the Multi-Function Control
Leverupordown.
HeadlightTimeDelay
Thereisalsoafeaturethatdelaysturningoffthevehicle
lightsfor30,60,or90secondsaftertheignitionswitchis
turned OFF. To activate the headlight delay, the multi-
function control lever must be rotated to the “Off”
positionaftertheignitionswitchisturnedOFF.Onlythe
headlights will illuminate during this time. Refer to
“EVIC- Customer Programmable Features” in Section 4
toturnthisfeature“On/Off”orsetthetimeinterval.
PassingLight/FlashtoPass
You can signal another vehicle with your headlights by
lightlypullingtheMulti-FunctionControlLevertoward
you. This will cause the headlights to turn on at high
beamandremainonuntiltheleverisreleased.
DimmerControl
NOTE: If the Multi-Function Control Lever is held in
the flash to pass position for more than 15 seconds, the
highbeamswillshutoff.Ifthisoccurs,wait30seconds
forthenextflashtopassoperation.
AutomaticHeadlightSystem—IfEquipped
Turningtheendofthemulti-functioncontrollevertothe
third detent, “A” (Auto), will activate the automatic
headlightsystem.
With the engine running and the multi-function control
leverinthe“A”(Auto)position,theheadlightswillturn
onandoffbasedonthesurroundinglightlevels.
