Airbag covers may not be obvious in  the
WARNING!
• orDoattemptnotputtoanythingopenthemonormanually.aroundtheYouairbagmaycoversdam-
agetheairbagsandyoucouldbeinjuredbecause
the airbags are not there to protect you. These
protective covers for the airbag cushions are de-
signedtoopenonlywhentheairbagsareinflating.
The system includes sensors adjacent to both front and
rearseatoccupantsthatarecalibratedtodeployduring
an impact severe enough to require airbag occupant
protection.

Donotuseaccessoryseatcoversorplaceobjects
between you and the side airbags; the perfor-
mancecouldbeadverselyaffectedand/orobjects
couldbepushedintoyou,causingseriousinjury.
If your vehicle is equipped with left and right
windowbags,donotstackluggageorothercargo
uphighenoughtoblockthelocationoftheSide
Airbag Inflatable Curtains (SABIC). The  area
where the side curtain airbag is located should
remainfreefromanyobstructions.

Donotattachcupholdersoranyotherobjectsonor
around the door. The inflating side airbag could
drive the object into occupants, causing serious
injury.
